Location: Town of Shari, Hokkaido

Project Type: Master Plan, Architectural Design and Interior Design

Elementary and Junior High School in Utoro district, located at the east of town of Shari next to Shiretoko National Park, one of the UNESCO world heritages in Japan. 

In order to protect students from harsh winter weather and unpredictable wild animal attacks, simple building form was prior condition of this project.
